One of the easiest lens set to install, the Ford F150 Flareside & SuperCrew requires very few tools and very little time.

First, you'll need an 8 millimeter nut driver or socket. There are two screws that will need to be removed. To access those two screws, you lower the tailgate and insert the 8 mm nut driver into the two holes on the side of the truck bed (as shown above). Exercise caution not to drop the screws down into the cavity once you remove them. If you drop them, you will have to fish them out with a magnet.

Once you have both screws removed, carefully pull the lens back toward the rear of the truck by gripping the side of the lens with your hand and pulling back. You may need to use a tool to losen the lens. Be careful not to scratch your truck and damage the OEM lens. Once you start the lens moving, you will loosen the two small guide rails which will free up the lens to be removed from the truck. Once you have the lens separated from the body of the truck, unscrew both bulb sockets. You should now be able to remove the lens completely from the truck body.
With the new lens in hand, replace the stock socket gaskets with the new gaskets that come with the aftermarket lenses. With the new gaskets in place, install both light bulb sockets into the new lens. Align the two tabs on the lens to fit in the slots on the truck body. Gently slide the lens back into place. Once the lens is in place, install both mounting screws into the lens. Test and verify all lights are working. If so, then go onto the other side. Each side should require about 10 minutes to install.

**NOTE** Some models of SuperCrew or Flareside have a metal piece that is imbeded in the taillight cavity. Often times, that piece of metal will hinder the installation of aftermarket taillights. The purpose of that piece of metal is unknown and if removed, will NOT affect the structural integrity of your truck. So, if you happen to have one of those SuperCrew or Flareside trucks, you can simply remove the piece of metal with a pair of tin snips and sucessfully install your new taillights.
